The mopping is a cut above average, and the space-age looking curvy dock takes care of the mopping maintenance tasks including refilling the bot's onboard tank and washing and drying its mop pads. (You will need to supplement this with the occasional deeper clean, but that's unavoidable.)

The roborock S8 MaxV Ultra Robot Vacuum Cleaner is a pricier option, but for the Em excesso outlay you get a huge amount of power. 10,000Pa promises to dislodge every speck of dust and the mop function also takes into account larger homes with different requirements.

For mopping robots with reusable pads, it's important to occasionally remove and launder the mopping pads and allow them to dry before re-installing them on the robot. If your robot's charging base doesn't automatically wash and dry the pads between cleanings, you should remove them after every session.
